Peer Teaching + Assessment Style Practice Sessions
These sessions are for apprentices and teachers going for their next level of certification to practice assessment-style teaching and do assessment-style practices. CIYogi and Y60 members are welcome to join and participate in the practices and be a volunteer student for the teaching component.

Ambassador of Iyengar yoga, world-renowned senior teacher and close disciple of BKS Iyengar, Jawahar Bangera returns to Calgary this summer.
A rare opportunity to study with an expert teacher who has masterful insights into practice techniques and its principles. Jawahar will explore how the practice touches the various layers of a human being from the physical to the spiritual realms. His teaching embodies spirit, kindness and humour.
Jawahar has been a student of Iyengar yoga since 1969 and accompanied B.K.S. Iyengar on many of his workshops around the world. He travels the world teaching and is a trustee of the Light On Yoga Research Trust that runs two centres for in-person sessions and one online.
